About the book
Drug busts, lost cats and secret passages.
Mysterious exploding swimming pool filters, cane toads and computer predators. Glamping, saving turtles, finding messages washed up in bottles.
Detaining escaped prisoners.
Solving kidnappings and cogitating on thieving terriers that brings gifts.
Albert and Claude are everyone’s ‘Great Uncle’. The kind of interesting and interested seniors you fall into conversation with at the pub, coffee shop, library or when on holidays. The two gentlemen, bored with retirement, set about finding something different and challenging to do with their time. They decide to muddy their feet in the local crime scene. Although usually law-abiding citizens, in their search for excitement they blot their copybook. Feeling remorseful, they embark on a series of “helpful” adventures.
